A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I understand how they really perform, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see broken down further.
So I’m breaking down a bunch of common questions, as well as where to score deals on them, below! Where can I find a pair like yours?
Cettire had them on sale and I jumped on it right away!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How expensive are they?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually retail for around $513.91.
These sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.
How is the fit?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re between sizes, I’d go up

Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good almost immediately. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Also, they’re already softened so your feet just slide in.
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re handmade in small batches, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.
Would you buy again?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is smarter. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a low-key version would also go with everything.
Discount sources?
Scroll down for my go-to sources. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I suggest them first.

Do they fit as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.

How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
